Türkiye Received the Highest Scores in Accreditation Among 7 Countries, in the Report Published by OECD

The report titled “SME Policy Index: Western Balkans and Türkiye 2022: Assessing the Implementation of the Small Business Act for Europe" has been published on the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) website.



In the report, under the title of “Standards and technical regulations (Dimension 7)” the level of alignment with the European Union acquis in the fields of accreditation, conformity assessment, standardization, technical regulations, metrology and market surveillance of Türkiye and the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia) was compared. 

About the Report

In the report, the SME policies of the governments are evaluated in line with the principles contained in the law, and recommendations regarding the developments and improvement of the current situation are included. 

Within the scope of the evaluation studies for the period of 2020-2022, the process in question was carried out effectively and successfully, and the work carried out in our country and the progress made were reflected in the report. The studies carried out for this purpose and the findings obtained were evaluated with the OECD and shared with the relevant institutions/organizations.
