TÜRKAK shared its vision for digitalization and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into accreditation processes with international stakeholders during an online workshop organized by EA.
The second session of the workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence and the Use of AI by Accreditation Bodies”, organized by the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), was held online on 30 October 2025.
In this session, representatives from LATAK (Latvia), ISAC (Iceland), and TÜRKAK (Türkiye) delivered presentations on the integration of AI into national accreditation systems, cultural transformation, and leadership approaches.
TÜRKAK was represented by İhsan Emre Bilici, Head of Assessment, Training and Projects Accreditation Department. Bilici provided detailed insights into TÜRKAK’s AI-related initiatives within its digital transformation process. His presentation emphasized how AI is used as a supportive tool in accreditation processes, its potential to increase efficiency, and the importance of maintaining humans as the ultimate decision-makers.
In addition, Gundega Jaunbērziņa-Beitika from LATAK and Örn Alexandersson from ISAC shared their institutions’ AI practices and discussed the impact of this technology on organizational culture.
The event concluded interactively with a Q&A and discussion session among participants. TÜRKAK’s experience in this field attracted significant attention within the international accreditation community.
