TÜRKAK management team hosted the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND) delegation and the representatives of the Turkish Standards Institute on March 25, 2022. TÜRKAK Deputy Secretary General Dr. Kürşat Özdemir and Ayşe Yalova Gökçe, AZSTAND Acting General Director İlham Bayramov, TSE Secretery General Technical Assistant İlhami Aktürk and Foreign Relations Department Head Nefise Betül Hıdıroğlu attended.
TÜRKAK and AZSTAND delegations exchanged ideas on possible collaborations to improve AZSTAND's technical capacity and comply with international accreditation standards.

TÜRKAK Deputy Secretary General Ayşe Yalova Gökçe and Dr. Kürşat Özdemir emphasized the friendly relations between the two countries and stated that they would be happy to consult and cooperate on improving the technical capacity of AZSTAND and shared the details of the project.

AZSTAND President İlham Bayramov stated that they want to take important steps in terms of the integration of the Institution with European and World standards by benefiting from the power and experience of TÜRKAK. He emphasized that Turkey is also an exemplary country in the field of accreditation and standards for Azerbaijan. Bayramov said "We plan to have the opportunity to reach the accreditation service level in international norms with the support of TÜRKAK".
At the end of the meeting, TÜRKAK and AZSTAND officials presented each other with gifts.
