On June 9, World Accreditation Day, a cooperation protocol was signed between TÜRKAK and the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) in order to strengthen the accreditation infrastructure of institutions.
At the signing ceremony held at the TÜRKAK service building, Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu underlined that close cooperation between institutions is essential in order to minimize all bureaucratic obstacles and to provide fast service to the sector, and said “Accreditation means trust in products and services, and the quality infrastructure of institutions only gets stronger by making progress in the field of accreditation. As TÜRKAK, I see our cooperation with TİTCK as an opportunity to meet the needs of the entire industry more quickly and effectively.”
TİTCK President Dr. Asım Hocaoğlu celebrated the World Accreditation Day and stated that the cooperation between TÜRKAK-TİTCK is very important for the development of the quality infrastructure of our country and wished that the protocol signed between TÜRKAK-TİTCK would be beneficial for our country and emphasized that TİTCK's influence and quality in the world will increase with the support of TÜRKAK .
With the protocol signed between the two institutions, it is aimed to share assessors, especially in the field of TS EN ISO 13485, to carry out training activities to increase personnel competency, and to assign TİTCK personnel to the assessment processes of conformity assessment bodies.
World Accreditation Day is celebrated this year with the theme "Accreditation: Supporting the Future of Global Trade".
