TÜRKAK Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu expressed her great pleasure in hosting the first in-person meeting of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) Communication Network in Istanbul, a city that connects two continents, diverse cultures, and centuries of history. She highlighted her belief that the meeting would inspire stronger communication, connections, and collaborations across Europe.
The meeting, chaired by TÜRKAK Inspection Accreditation Department Coordinator Ömer Karavelioğlu, brought together 30 representatives from different countries. Over two days, participants discussed topics such as the development of communication strategies in accreditation processes, the contribution of advancements in artificial intelligence to communication activities, and methods for combating cyberattacks.
On the second day, an interactive workshop was organized with active participation from attendees. The workshop focused on identifying weaknesses in communication activities, evaluating risk management strategies, and raising public awareness about accreditation.
