The business processes, organizational structures, stakeholder relations, and change management experiences of national accreditation bodies that are members of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) were discussed at a panel hosted by the Serbian Accreditation Body (ATS) in Belgrade.
Titled "A Comparative Analysis of Three Different EU Models in Accreditation - Advantages, Disadvantages, and Challenges", the panel was moderated by ATS Director Dragan Pusara. Representing TÜRKAK, Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu participated as a panelist alongside RENAR (Romanian Accreditation Body) General Manager Alina Taina and Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) Board Chair Roeland Nieuweboer.
Müderrisoğlu delivered a presentation titled "Digital Transformation in Accreditation Bodies", in which she highlighted TÜRKAK’s digital initiatives, including the ASIST service portal developed under the "zero paper" principle, and other key activities undertaken over the past five years. Alina Taina provided insights into RENAR’s business processes, while Roeland Nieuweboer focused on change management in his presentation.
Representatives from the Serbian Ministry of Economy, Chamber of Commerce, and Standardization Body contributed to the panel with their questions and comments.
Following the panel, bilateral memorandums of understanding were signed between the Serbian Accreditation Body ATS and TÜRKAK, as well as other accreditation bodies including RvA and RENAR. These agreements aim to enhance collaboration and experience-sharing in the field of accreditation.
