Speaking at the TÜRKAK Lead Assessor Information Meeting, Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu described lead assessors as TÜRKAK’s soldiers in the field. She explained that they increased the institution’s technical capacity in every field by implementing the zero paper target.
150 lead assessors who are team leaders in TÜRKAK assessments attended the meeting held in Ankara.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu stated that TÜRKAK organized an information meeting for lead assessors in every field for the first time and emphasized that lead assessors are the power and representatives of TÜRKAK in the field. Emphasizing that the qualifications of lead assessors play a decisive role in the quality of accreditation services, Müderrisoğlu stated that the number of TÜRKAK’s lead assessors has increased by 27 percent and the number of assessors and technical experts by 25 percent in the last 5 years.
Müderrisoğlu pointed out that TÜRKAK’s “quality army” has carried out 2200 assessments in the last year, both in summer and winter, near and far, and underlined that the assignment of assessors is made through a database, performance evaluations and quota monitoring. Müderrisoğlu shared the information that the number of assessments of the 20 lead assessors who were assigned the most in 2019 will decrease by 28 percent and the number of person days by 27 percent in 2023, and therefore much more fair, professional and data-driven assignments are now made.
