Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) signed a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Accreditation Center of Kazakhstan (NCA) to develop cooperation opportunities in the field of accreditation and to strengthen and maintain the relations between the two bodies.
For the signing ceremony of the MoU, the TÜRKAK management team hosted NCA and Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology (KazStandard) officials at the institution building on June 21, 2021. At the signing ceremony attended by TÜRKAK Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu, NCA Director General Kainar Taizhanov and KazStandard Director General Gabit Mukhambetov, it was hoped that the new MoU would be useful for both sides.

Reminding that the first memorandum of understanding between TÜRKAK and NCA was signed in 2008, TÜRKAK Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu stated that since this date, the cooperation between the accreditation bodies of the two countries has continued to develop.
Müderrisoğlu stated that TÜRKAK has provided many training and study visits to NCA personnel in recent years and emphasized that TÜRKAK attaches importance to relations with the friendly country Kazakhstan, and that the memorandum of understanding signed today is a turning point for the development of cooperation between the accreditation bodies of the two countries.

NCA Director General Kainar Taizhanov and KazStandard Director General Gabit Mukhambetov expressed their gratitude to the Turkish Accreditation Agency for their support so far, wishing that the new memorandum of understanding will be beneficial for both countries and that cooperation will increase.
After the signing ceremony and presentations, the parties presented their gifts to each other.
