A memorandum of understanding was signed between TÜRKAK and the Russian Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation) for future cooperation opportunities in the field of “accreditation”.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding was held in Moscow with the participation of Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu and Head of RusAccreditation Nazariy Skrypnik.
Müderrisoğlu: “This is an important day for the further consolidation of long-standing relations and friendship between Turkey and Russia, and for the development of our economic and commercial relations”
Before the signing ceremony, a meeting was held between Turkish and Russian delegations. In her speech, Secretary General Müderrisoğlu pointed out that the increasing trade volume between Turkey and Russia approached the level of 23 billion $ in 2020, and “There is a lot of work for the accreditation bodies of both countries in terms of increasing cooperation in the fields of trade and economy and removing technical barriers to trade.” she said.
After the meeting, the “Memorandum of Understanding” was signed by the Secretary General Banu Müderrisoglu and the Head of RusAccreditation Nazariy Skrypnik.
With the memorandum of understanding signed between TÜRKAK and RusAccreditation, it is aimed to ensure the informational, analytical and organizational interaction of both parties on the issues of accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, and to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of accreditation within the scope of their competences and in accordance with the legislation of their states.
